§ 153.01  PLATS TO BE SUBMITTED TO CITY.
   Any person who shall survey or plat any addition to the city, or any lands adjoining or within the same, into lots, blocks or other subdivisions, or shall resubdivide any block, lot, sublot or part thereof, within the city, shall submit the map, plat or subdivision thereof to the Plan Commission and thence to the City Council for its approval in accordance with the provisions of §§ 32.40 through 32.47 of this code; and no map, plat or subdivision shall be valid, or be admitted to record in the office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for Douglas County, until the same has been so submitted and approved by the City Council. If the City Council approves any map or plat of any addition or subdivision submitted to it, as herein provided, a certificate of the approval shall be endorsed upon the map or plat, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk.
