This chapter supplements and is in addition to those provisions set forth in the building regulations of the city and nothing herein shall be construed as repealing any requirement relating to the proper wiring, plumbing or construction of any building or structure. All work is to be in conformity with the building regulations as now in effect or as provided by any other applicable ordinance. In every instance the applicant shall comply with all applicable provisions.
