§ 150.65  OFFICE OF BUILDING OFFICIAL ESTABLISHED.
   (A)   The office of Building Official is hereby created and the executive official in charge shall be known as the Building Official. The Building Official shall be appointed by the Mayor in accordance with § 31.30 of this Code.
   (B)   During temporary absence or disability of the Building Official the Mayor shall designate an Acting Building Official. The Acting Building Official shall receive the same compensation as provided for the Building Official.
   (C)   The compensation paid the Building Official shall be as established from time to time by the City Council.
