(A) Approval. After the prescribed tests and final inspection indicate the work complies in all respects with this code, a certificate of approval shall be issued by the code official.
(B) Temporary occupancy. Upon the request of the holder of a permit, the code official shall issue a temporary authorization before the entire work covered by the permit has been completed, provided the portion or portions will be put into service safely prior to full completion of the building or structure without endangering health or public welfare.
