§ 150.32  PLUMBING INSPECTOR.
   (A)   Appointment. There is hereby created the position of Plumbing Inspector. The Inspector shall be appointed to a 1-year term, annually, by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council. The Plumbing Inspector shall devote the time as is required from time to time to accomplish his or her duties as designated by these provisions. The Plumbing Inspector shall not be directly or indirectly interested in the plumbing business in any way and shall not be directly or indirectly interested in any plumbing contractor business, plumbing supply business, plumbing material business, or insurance business dealing with plumbing contractors.
   (B)   Qualifications. The Plumbing Inspector shall have at least a journeyman’s plumber’s license and 4 years’ experience in plumbing and sewer construction work.
   (C)   Duties. It shall be the duty of the Plumbing Inspector to see to the enforcement of all provisions of this code relating to plumbing and plumbing equipment and to make inspections and perform the tests as may be necessary in the enforcement of the code.
