§ 132.06  GAMBLING PROHIBITED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to play for money, or for any checks, chips, counters or anything of similar kind intended to represent money or other things of value, or for any other valuable thing, any game with cards, dominoes, dice or billiards, or with any other article or instruments, thing, or things whatsoever, which may be used for the purpose of playing or betting upon for winning or losing money or to bet on any game when played by others.
   (B)   No person, firm or corporation, either by himself or agent, shall keep or suffer to be kept in his or her place of business or in any room, building, or place adjacent thereto owned, managed, or controlled by him or his or her agent, any table, tables, or other apparatus or service for the purpose of playing at any game or sport, whether cards, dice or chips or any other article, instrument or thing which may be used for the purpose of betting upon or winning or losing money or other articles of value; nor shall suffer or permit any games to be played therein. The provisions of this section do not prohibit participation in the Illinois State Lottery or other activity licensed by the state.
