It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to see that every exhibition, amusement, theatrical or other public show or amusement is inspected by a member of the Police Department to insure conformity with the provisions concerning the amusements. The Chief of Police and the Fire Chief shall make the inspections as may be necessary to insure compliance with the provisions of this chapter and shall be admitted free to every public show, theatrical, carnival or other amusement in the city at every performance.
