As a guide to giving orders or suggestions for correction of hazardous fire conditions, either as to buildings or materials therein, or the business operated therein, the Fire Chief is hereby authorized to use the “Fire Prevention Code,” as required by the National Board of Fire Underwriters and the rules and regulations as therein set forth except the portions as are deleted, modified, or amended by the provisions of this chapter, which shall be adopted by reference as if set out at length herein.
