§ 52.17  REPAIR OF LEAKS.
   (A)   Any time a leak develops, the same shall be repaired immediately upon notice to the owner by the Director of the Department of Public Works.  Should same not be repaired immediately upon notice, the city shall cause same to be repaired at the expense of the owner or water shall be cut off until the repairs shall have been made.
   (B)   In addition, prior to any full restoration of water service, the owner shall repair, at his or her own expense, or pay to the city the estimated cost thereof, any repairs to any city sidewalk damaged by the water line repairs. Failure to repair sidewalk damages within a reasonable period after notice from the city to do so shall result in termination of water service.
