§ 37.080  PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES.
   (A)   Permanent employees will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months. During the probationary period, an employee may be terminated by the City Council without notice or hearing.
   (B)   During the middle of the third month of an employee's probationary period, the employee's department head will complete a written 3-month evaluation of the employee on the "Performance Evaluation for Probationary Employees" form, available at City Hall. During the middle of the fifth month of an employee's probationary period, the employee's department head will complete a 5-month evaluation and a recommendation for retention or dismissal on the same "Performance Evaluation for Probationary Employees" form. The department head will then submit the completed form to the City Clerk for inclusion in the employee's file and for review by the Mayor and City Council. The Council will decide on or before the end of the sixth month of the employee's probationary period whether or not to retain the employee.
