All hourly employees are entitled to time and one-half for actual hours worked and any paid time off in excess of 40 hours in a 7-day pay period, including police officers. Police officers will not be paid for "shift-change" hours worked in excess of their regular schedule. All overtime must be approved, in advance, by the Mayor or committee chairperson except in emergency situations.
