§ 34.07  ASSISTANCE FROM POLICE OFFICERS.
   It shall be the duty of each and every police officer on duty to respond to all fire alarms.  When not needed to control traffic or preserve property or the public peace, each police officer shall report to the officer commanding the Fire Department and be assigned to duty by him.
