The appointment of any or all auxiliary police officers may be terminated in accordance with the Uniform Personnel Rules and Regulations, City of Villa Grove (Chapter 37 of this Code); however, if an auxiliary police officer does not receive certification by the Chief of Police for 6-month intervals beginning 6 months from the date of employment, the police officer will be automatically terminated.
