929.10 TESTING METERS.
   The City may test the accuracy of any meter at any reasonable time. Any person may upon written request to the City require that his meter be tested for accuracy and the person permitted to be present when the meter is tested. The meter shall be deemed to be operating properly if an accuracy of plus or minus two percent is found. In the event the test indicates that the meter is operating properly, the person requesting the test shall be required to pay a charge of three dollars ($3.00). Should the test indicate that the meter is not operating properly, either plus or minus, the monthly billing for the period next preceding the test shall be adjusted accordingly and the adjustment shall appear in the next succeeding monthly statement rendered to the person.
