Except as otherwise specified in this article, the entirety of any license fee designated as an annual fee shall be paid within forty-five days of the bill being sent. All annual licenses provided for by this article shall be issued for a term of one year beginning on July 1 and ending on the next succeeding June 30. Where licenses of other periods are authorized by this article, they shall be of such duration, and shall begin and end as of such dates, as the City Treasurer may provide; but the City Treasurer shall select such dates as State law requires, if any, for any correlative State licenses, certificates or permits.
