(a) No person shall park a motor vehicle within or otherwise obstruct a designated fire lane upon public or private property unless such parking or obstruction is in response to an emergency response to the location of the fire lane. Any such violation shall be enforced by either the Fire or Police Departments.
(b) (1) Whoever violates the provisions of this section or fails to comply with any order made hereunder shall, for each violation be fined fifty dollars ($50.00).
(2) Revenues generated from fines paid under this section shall be distributed as follows:
A. Five dollars ($5.00) per fine to the Fire Prevention Bureau to fund the purchase of fire prevention and education materials for public distribution.
B. Forty-five dollars ($45.00) to the General Fund.
