In cases of the conviction for violation of any provision of the Codified Ordinances or other municipal ordinance or any State law of any person arrested by any member of the Police Department, or the forfeiture of bail not vacated after arrest for violation of any provision of the Codified Ordinances or other Municipal ordinance or any State law by any person so arrested, an arrest fee of one dollar ($1.00) shall be taxed as part of the costs, in addition to other fees authorized by law, and shall be collected from the person convicted or furnishing bail, and such arrest fee shall be paid into the Policemen's Pension or Relief Fund, as prescribed in West Virginia Code 8-22-20.
