The provisions contained herein shall not be construed as limiting the powers, responsibilities and duties of the Building Inspector heretofore existing, it being the intention of this article that the provisions provided herein shall be in addition to and cumulative to any such existing duties, powers and responsibilities provided by prior ordinances.
