(a) No sign intended to be read from off the premises shall be permitted except:
In the Residential District, a trade, business or professional sign, not over two square feet in size not illuminated, is permitted as accessory to uses permitted; a sign not exceeding one square foot in size and bearing only property numbers, post box numbers, names of occupants of premises or other identification of premises not having commercial connotations, is permitted; a sign pertaining to lease or sale or a temporary sign displayed in connection with construction operations, not exceeding eight square feet in size, is permitted.
(b) In the Business District, no sign shall be erected or maintained which shall constitute a danger to the public, unreasonably impede free passage or view (vision) or unreasonably obscure buildings, structures or other signs. (Ord. 10-14. Passed 8-14-14.)
