10-1-1: BUILDING CODE ADOPTED; AMENDMENTS; PENALTY:
   A.   Code Adopted: That certain document, one copy of which shall be on file in the Town Hall, being marked and designated as the 2015 International Building Code and the 2015 International Residential Code, including appendix chapters, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., is hereby adopted as the "Building Code of the Town of Vici", for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in subsections B and C of this section. The Town Clerk shall keep a copy of the subject Building Code on hand, available for sale and inspection by the public, at all times.
   B.   Building Code Revisions: The following sections of the 2015 International Building Code are hereby revised:
      1.   Section 101.1. Insert "Town of Vici, Oklahoma."
      2.   Section 1612.3. Insert "Town of Vici, Oklahoma."
      3.   Section 1612.3. Insert "April 3, 1987."
      4.   Section 3409.2. Insert "December 31, 2004."
      5.   As amended by OAC 748:20-1-1 through 748:20-1-19.
   C.   Residential Code Revisions: The following sections of the 2015 International Residential Code are hereby revised:
      1.   Section R101.1. Insert "Town of Vici, Oklahoma."
      2.   As amended by OAC 748:20-5-1 through 748:20-5-28.

   D.   Penalty: A person who violates a provision of the codes adopted in subsection A of this section or fails to comply therewith or with any of the requirements thereof, or who erects, constructs, alters, repairs or removes, or has erected, constructed, altered, repaired, or removed a building or structure in violation of a detailed statement or plan submitted and approved thereunder or of a permit or certificate issued thereunder, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. Each day upon which a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense. (2008 Code § 5-103)
