A. Connection Charges; Permit:
1. A charge prescribed by subsection B of this section for each connection made on the sanitary sewer system of the Town regardless of whether the connection is made on what has heretofore been designated as a public sewer or a private sewer, is hereby levied for the right of the person, firm or corporation to make the connection to the sanitary sewer system of the Town.
2. It is hereby declared to be the duty of the Town Clerk to make this collection for issuing a permit to the applicant. (2008 Code § 17-304)
B. Sewer Service Charge Levied:
1. For the purpose of providing funds for the maintenance of the sanitary sewerage system of the Town and for other purposes, there is hereby fixed and established charges for the use of the wastewater treatment system to be levied against each respective user thereof within the Town in such amounts and according to such classifications of users as the Board by resolution or motion may determine.
2. A copy of the current charges in effect shall be kept on file in the Town Clerk's Office. (2008 Code § 17-306)
