7-2-6: RIGHT-OF-WAY AT INTERSECTIONS:
   A.   Right-Of-Way Generally: The driver of a vehicle approaching an intersection shall yield the right-of-way to a vehicle which has entered the intersection from a different street; provided, that the driver of a vehicle on a street which is not a State or Federal highway approaching an intersection with a State or Federal highway shall stop and yield the right-of-way to a vehicle which has entered the intersection or which is so close thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard. When two (2) vehicles enter or approach an intersection from different highways at approximately the same time, the driver of the vehicle on the left shall yield the right-of-way to the vehicle on the right.    B.   Vehicle Turning Left: The driver of a vehicle within an intersection intending to turn left shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle approaching from the opposite direction which is within the intersection or so close thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard; but the driver, having so yielded and having given a signal when and as required by this title, may make such left turn, and the drivers of all other vehicles approaching the intersection from such opposite direction shall yield the right- of-way to the vehicle making the left turn.
