A. Definition: For the purpose of this section, "fireworks" shall have the meaning prescribed by State law, 68 Oklahoma Statutes section 1622.
B. Use Restricted: The purchase, sale, offer for sale, use, discharge, ignition, or possession of fireworks within the corporate limits of the Town is hereby prohibited prior to June 20 and after July 5 each year, except for authorized displays approved in accordance with the Fire Prevention Code, and public displays conducted by the Town Fire Department with approval in advance by the Board of Trustees. All fireworks shall be discharged in a safe and sane manner. (Ord. 276, 6-15-2016)
