As part of the services provided by the town, recyclable items, including newsprint, aluminum beverage cans, bi-metal and ferrous cans, Category #1 (polyethylene terepthalate) plastic containers, Category #2 (high density polyethylene) plastic containers, and clear glass bottles, shall be collected twice monthly on the first and third trash collection days of each month. The recyclables shall be separated into containers of like substances, newsprint in a separate container and so forth. Containers may be ordinary plastic trash bags, grocery bags, boxes, or other appropriate containers. Recyclable items shall contain no free flowing liquids, but need not be free of labels. Recyclable beverage containers shall have caps and neck rings removed.
