The duties of the 911 Board shall be:
(A) Approve the annual budget for 911 dispatch operations;
(B) Designate the government buildings subject to the 911 service fee;
(C) Adjust the rate for the 911 service fee not to exceed changes in the Consumer Price Index;
(D) Employ an executive director to oversee daily operations of 911 dispatch operations; and
(E) Create a subcommittee consisting of three members to hear and determine appeals from property owners concerning the classification of their property for purposes of determining the appropriate 911 service fee. The Woodford County Sheriff or their designee shall be prohibited from serving on this subcommittee.
