For purposes of this subchapter the following terms shall have the following meanings:
“911 SERVICE FEE.” An annual fee imposed upon each structure with a unique address on a parcel of real property located within the city as determined by the records of the Woodford County Property Valuation Administrator and 911 point information. The fee shall be used solely for the delivery of enhanced 911 emergency telephone service as provided for by KRS 65.760 and the associated maintenance of systems and devices, including but not limited to the operating costs of the Versailles-Woodford County Dispatch center, E911 equipment, training of personnel, and public education campaigns.
“BUSINESS PROPERTY.” An individual business unit with a unique address on a parcel of land zoned P-1, B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4, B-5, I-1, I-2, or otherwise deemed to be business property by the 911 Service Fee Board.
“GOVERNMENT BUILDING.” A building used by a local government entity as determined by the 911 Board.
“PRIVATE UNIVERSITY.” A campus of a private university that provides services to students on site.
“PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDING.” A building used for the provision of public school services.
“PUBLIC SERVICE PROPERTY.” An individual business or residential unit with a unique address in any zoning district that is used as a church, nonprofit service provider, food pantry, or private school.
“RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS POINT.” An individual living unit with a unique address on a parcel of land zoned A-1, A-2, Rural Residential, A-4, R-1A, R-1B, R-1C, R-2, R-3, R-4, M-1 or otherwise deemed to be residential through appeal to the 911 Service Fee Board.
