In addition to the penalties contained in § 110.99, any person, firm, or corporation violating §§ 120.02 through 120.08 by engaging in any business for which a license is required, without first procuring a license therefor, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100) or imprisoned in the county jail not less than one (1) nor more than thirty (30) days, or both so fined and imprisoned, for each violation. Each day a business is engaged in, or the doing of anything for which a license is required, without the license, shall constitute a separate offense, but no prosecution shall be a bar to a civil action for the recovery of the required license fee or fees.
