§ 151.04 PORTABLE STORAGE UNITS AND DUMPSTERS.
   Portable storage units and dumpsters. Portable storage units and dumpsters shall be placed entirely behind the sidewalk. Neither shall be located on a property for more than ninety (90) consecutive days, nor placed back onto the same property within ninety (90) days of removal, except that property owners may obtain from the city a thirty (30) day extension of this ninety (90) day period for dumpsters only. Those within a right-of-way shall obtain a right-of-way encroachment permit from the city or KDOT as applicable and shall be subject to the terms and conditions of said permit instead of the placement requirements and time limits contained in this section. Permitting a portable storage unit or dumpster to remain on any property for more than ninety (90) consecutive days shall be a violation and subject to a fine of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per day for each day after ninety (90) days.
