(A) A person who has been issued a plumbing contractor’s license or water and sewer contractor’s license shall execute and deposit with the City Finance Officer a bond in the sum of $10,000, the bond to be conditioned that all work performed by the licensee or under his or her supervision shall be performed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and that he or she will pay all fines and penalties properly imposed upon him or her for violation of the provisions of this chapter.
(B) The plumbing contractor’s or sewer and water contractor’s license shall not be valid unless a bond is executed and deposited as herein provided.
