§ 152.08 PROHIBITED SIGNS.
   All signs not expressly permitted under this chapter are prohibited in the city. The signs include, but are not limited to:
   (A)   Beacons, search lights and flashing signs.
   (B)   Signs or sign structures which resemble, imitate, simulate, or conflict with traffic control signs or devices included in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, which otherwise mislead or confuse persons traveling on public streets, which create a traffic hazard.
   (C)   Signs which contain or consist of banners, balloons, posters, pennants, ribbons, streamers, spinners, or other similarly moving devices, except as specifically provided in this chapter. These devices when not part of any sign shall also be prohibited.
   (D)   Signs which create a safety hazard by obstructing the clear view of pedestrians or vehicles, or which obscure official signs or signals.
   (E)   Signs attached to trees, telephone poles, public benches, street lights, street signs or placed on any public property or public right-of-way.
   (F)   Signs attached to organic or inorganic natural matter.
   (G)   Signs placed on vehicles or trailers which are parked or located for the primary purpose of displaying the signs.
   (H)   Off-premise signs painted on building walls.
   (I)   Signs which obstruct any required egress from a building or structure.
   (J)   Banners, pole.
   (K)   All roof signs.
