There is hereby adopted by the city, for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the installation and maintenance of heating and venting systems, the Uniform Mechanical Code, published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, Chapters 1 through 10, 1979 edition, with 1980 revisions, of which code not less than 2 copies are on file in the office of the Building Inspector.
