The city shall not be held, by reason of this chapter, as assuming any liability for damages to persons or property by reason of inspections authorized herein, or any certificate issued as provided herein, or by reason of the approval or disapproval of any equipment authorized herein, or by virtue of any other requirement, rule, or regulation herein set forth.
