§ 130.24 ELECTRICAL INTERFERENCE.
   (A)   Radio interference prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person, after 7 days next following the inspection, testing, and receiving of the written notice as provided in division (C) below, to operate or cause to be operated in the city any machine, device, apparatus, or instrument of any kind whatsoever causing preventable or avoidable interference with radio-broadcast receiving apparatus; provided, however, that:
      (1)   X-ray pictures, examinations, or treatments may be made at any time if the machines or apparatus used therefor are properly equipped to avoid all unnecessary or reasonably preventable interference with radio reception and are not negligently operated; and
      (2)   Violet-ray machines, diathermal machines, or any other electro-medical devices may be operated at any time if the machines or apparatus used therefor are properly equipped to avoid all unnecessary or reasonably preventable interference with radio reception and are not negligently operated.
   (B)   Inspections. The Building Official or his or her designee shall have the right, at the expense of the interested person or persons, other than the city, to enter upon any premises in the city at all reasonable hours for the purpose of inspecting and testing the installation and operation of all apparatus coming within the terms of this section and it shall be unlawful for any person to interfere with any such Electrical Inspector in making the inspection or test, or to refuse to permit any duly appointed Electrical Inspector to enter any premises in the city for that purpose.
   (C)   Notice. When an inspection and test shall have been made by any such duly appointed Electrical Inspector, and it shall be found that any equipment or apparatus coming within the terms of this section is being so operated or is so constructed that it interferes with radio reception, the person or persons responsible for the operation of the equipment or apparatus shall be notified in writing by the Electrical Inspector to discontinue the use of the equipment or apparatus, or to make additions, repairs, or modifications thereof, specifying the same, in order that the equipment or apparatus may be operated in a manner complying with the provisions of this section.
