It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully or maliciously break, cut, mar, injure, deface, or in any manner damage or destroy any sidewalk, pavement, curb, gutter, crosswalk, fence, tree, shrub, equipment, machinery, building, or shed or other public property of the city.
