§ 96.11 TREES, WEEDS, GRASS.
   (A)   The occupant or owner of any premises abutting upon any street, road, or alley shall keep all trees upon the premises or between the same and the center of the adjoining streets so trimmed that no bough or branch thereof shall hang lower than 8 feet above the surface of the sidewalk and 16 feet above the surface of the street, road or alley thereon; and shall keep mowed or cut down all weeds and grass that may grow between the boundary line of the premises and the edge of the adjoining street, road, or alley.
   (B)   No person shall plant, maintain, or permit to grow upon the premises any tree, shrubbery, hedge, or vegetation in such way as to obstruct the view of the drivers of vehicles approaching within 50 feet of any street intersection.
   (C)   The city reserves the right to trim trees where safe and efficient operation of power lines requires it.
