Parking or standing a vehicle in a designated space in a parking meter zone shall be lawful for not more than 1 hour parking. Time can be paid for on 1 occasion any place within the parking meter zone. Each parking meter shall indicate the maximum parking time at the parking space adjacent to which it is located and no more parking time shall be authorized or paid for 1 occasion at the space than is indicated on the meter.
