The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to mark off individual parking sheaves in the parking motor zone designated by this ordinance, and in the zones as may hereafter be established, the parking spaces to be designated by lines painted or durably marked an the curbing, street or surface of the sidewalk. At each space so marked off it shall be unlawful to park any vehicle in such a way that the vehicle shall not be entirely within the limits of the space designated.
