(A) Required. All snowmobiles operated within the city shall be equipped with:
(1) Properly attached mufflers so designed as to minimize the noise of operation of the vehicle;
(2) Adequate brakes in good working condition;
(3) At least 1 headlight and 1 taillight; and
(4) A dead-man throttle in good working condition, being a device which disengages the motor from the driving track when the pressure on the accelerator or throttle is released.
(B) Muffler cutout, bypass prohibited. No snowmobile shall be equipped with a muffler cutout, bypass, or other such device.
