268.01 RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   (a)   The Parks and Recreation Board shall prepare rules and regulations for the operation of City parks, and upon approval of such rules and regulations by the Mayor, the Board shall cause them to be enforced.
 
   (b)   Such rules and regulations shall include, but not be limited to, the following standards of conduct:
      1.    No pets allowed in park, except on leash;
      2.    No open fires, except on beaches;
      3.    No parking on grass;
      4.    No motor vehicles, except in designated areas;
      5.    No alcoholic beverages;
      6.    No glass beverage containers;
      7.    Dumpsters for park user's use only;

      8.    Park hours 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; with the exception of Nakomis Beach Park, West Breeze Park, Hanover Square Park, Showse Park, Sherod Park, and Main Street Beach & Park which will close at dusk.

      9.    No vandalism or removal of any park property, violators to be prosecuted; and

   (c)   Such rules and regulations as are approved herein shall be placed on file with the Chief of Police and shall be enforced by him or her, each officer and patrolman of the Vermilion Police Department authorized to make arrests, and the Director of Parks and Recreation and all employees acting under him or her.
