Anyone interested in renting the City parks and/or pavilions will contact the City Administrative Assistant and complete the appropriate paperwork via the Picnic Pavilion and Community Event Group Use Permit.
(a) Fees for the use of the City parks and pavilions are hereby established and shall be as follows.
(1) Residents: No charge. A goodwill donation will be accepted.
(2) Non-residents: Thirty-five dollar ($35.00) non-refundable fee.
(3) Profit ventures and corporations: Two hundred dollars ($200.00) for the first day of usage; one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) for the second day in a row; and, seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for the third day in a row. All fees are non-refundable if the renting party cancels its reservation.
(4) Non-profits: No charge.
(b) The City parks and pavilion rental fee shall be collected when the reservation is made. If the reservation is cancelled, the rental fee shall be forfeited to the City.
(c) All permanent changes to City parks and pavilion rental fees must be approved by Vermilion City Council.
(d) The City parks and pavilion rental fees shall become effective January 1, 2020.
