In addition to any other remedy available under the City's Codified Ordinances and/or state law or regulation, the following enforcement measures are available:
(a) Unlicensed Sweepstakes Terminal Device. The Mayor, the Director of Public Service, the Building Inspector, and any duly authorized law enforcement officer of the City may seize any sweepstakes terminal device for which no license has been issued or that is not properly licensed pursuant to the requirements of this chapter, and that is found to be in use by any person, and/or may immediately close down the business on the premises where the unlicensed or improperly licensed sweepstakes terminal device is situated, in order to prevent further violations of this chapter. The seizure shall not be lifted, nor the premises open again for business of any type, unless and until a valid license(s) first has been issued and any fines and penalties have been paid in full, including the City's administrative costs of any seizure and/or business closure.
(b) Unlicensed Sweepstakes Terminal Device Facility. The Mayor, the Director of Public Service, the Building Inspector, and any duly authorized law enforcement officer of the City may seize any or all sweepstakes terminal devices present in any sweepstakes terminal device facility for which no license has been issued or that is not properly licensed pursuant to the requirements of this chapter, and that is found to be in use by any person, and/or may immediately close down the business on the premises where the unlicensed or improperly licensed sweepstakes terminal device facility is situated, in order to prevent further violations of this chapter. The seizure shall not be lifted, nor the premises open again for business of any type, unless and until a valid license(s) first has been issued and any fines and penalties have been paid in full, including the City's administrative costs of any seizure and/or business closure.
