1043.08 REQUIRED PUMPING FREQUENCY.
   (a)   Unless otherwise specified in writing by the City and/or County Board of Health, each grease interceptor in active use shall be cleaned at least a minimum of once every calendar year or more frequently as needed to prevent carry over of grease into the sanitary sewer system, unless it is demonstrated to the City and/or County Board of Health that the pumping frequency can be performed at greater intervals without impairment of the operation of the public sewer. The City and/or County Board of Health may specify cleaning more frequently when yearly pumping is determined by the City and/or County Board of Health to be inadequate. Any grease generator desiring a schedule less frequent than yearly shall submit a request to the City and/or County Board of Health.
   (b)   The facility shall be responsible for providing such additional pumping as needed.
   (c)   All grease interceptors shall be maintained by the facility at the facility's expense.
