1250.09 SURVEY AND PERMANENT MONUMENTS.
   (a)   Location of Survey Monuments. At the time of surveying and laying out subdivisions or additions to the City, the proprietor of such subdivision or addition shall place at the corner of a public lot or ground, if there is such, and if there is none, then at the corner of one of the inlots and at the corner of each outlot, a good and sufficient stone of such size and dimensions and in such manner as provided for under Ohio R.C. 711.01, for a corner from which to make future surveys, and the point at which it may be found shall be designated on the plat.

   (b)   Permanent Monuments. Such permanent markers shall be one-inch pipe or steel rods set in and running through a concrete block at least six inches in diameter and at least thirty inches long, and the bottom of such concrete block shall be set at least thirty inches deep, below finished grade in the plat, and the points at which they may be found shall be designated on the plat.

   (c)   Certification of Permanent Monuments. Before final acceptance of the street improvements by the City or County, the subdivider or developer shall, through a registered surveyor, certify to the City or County that all required permanent monuments are correctly in place or that those removed during construction have been replaced.
 
   (d)   Lot Corners. Iron pins shall be set at all lot corners by a registered surveyor. (Ord. 850. Passed 7-1-63.)
