(A) The legislature of the state, in G.S. Chapter 160A, Article 8, § 174, enabled cities by ordinance to define, prohibit, regulate, or abate acts, omissions, or conditions, detrimental to the health, safety, or welfare of its citizens and the peace and dignity of the city.
(B) The Board of Aldermen thus enacted into law the following subchapter as the town’s Accessory Building Ordinance hereinafter referred to as “subchapter” or “this subchapter”.
