§ 152.006  WORD INTERPRETATION.
   For the purpose of this chapter, certain words shall be interpreted as follows:
   (A)   Words used in the present tense include the future tense;
   (B)   Words used in the singular number include the plural;
   (C)   Words used in the plural number include the singular, unless the natural construction of the wording indicates otherwise;
   (D)   The “person” includes firm, association, partnership, corporation, trust, and company, as well as individual;
   (E)   The word “structure” shall include the word “building”;
   (F)   The word “lot” shall include the words “plot”, “parcel”, or “tract”;
   (G)   The word “shall” is always mandatory;
   (H)   The word “may” is permissive; and
   (I)   The word “used for” shall include the meaning “designed for”.
