§ 110.01 BILLPOSTING AND SIGNS.
   (A)   License required. No person shall post bills, distribute bills, or tack cards unless that person first procures from the Mayor or his or her representative a license as hereinafter provided. Nothing herein shall be construed to make it unlawful for merchants doing business in the city to advertise their own businesses without procuring a license.

   (B)   License fees. The Mayor or his or her representative shall issue a license under this chapter to any person applying therefor upon the payment of a license fee as follows:
      (1)   For billposting the fee shall be $25 per year.
      (2)   For bill distributing the fee shall be $100 per year.
      (3)   For card tacking the fee shall be $100 per year.

   (C)   Sign permit. No person shall erect any signboard or hang any sign extending into the street more than 3 feet from the building or lot line without first obtaining a permit to do so from the Mayor or his or her representative.
