The city will support the Van Wert County Fair Housing Commission and the rules and regulations which govern its existence as adopted by the Van Wert County Commissioners. See § 100.07 for the current rules and regulations of the Fair Housing Commission. In addition, the city shall adopt the following: The Fair Housing Coordinator for the city shall be appointed by the City Council and shall be an employee of the city. The Fair Housing Coordinator will receive any fair housing complaints for the city and will then refer the complainant to the Commission if any further action is deemed necessary.
