Industrial dischargers required to obtain a wastewater discharge permit shall complete and file with the city an application in the form prescribed by the city. Existing major significant industries and minor significant industries shall apply for a wastewater discharge permit within a period established by the POTW, but not to exceed 180 days after the effective date of this chapter. Proposed new industrial dischargers shall apply at least 90 days prior to connecting to or contributing to the POTW. In support of the application, the industrial discharger shall submit, in units and terms appropriate for evaluation, the information listed in § 52.32. The Director will evaluate the data furnished by the discharger and may require additional information. After evaluation and acceptance of the data furnished, the Director may issue a wastewater discharge permit subject to terms and conditions provided herein. The Director reserves the right to deny or condition new or increased contributions of pollutants for all dischargers at any time.
