The city is establishing a tap fees schedule. The Safety-Service Director is hereby authorized to set a water, sanitary and storm sewer tap fees schedule. These fees shall apply only to new construction; if a connection already exists from a previous home, then the capacity charges would not apply. However, the fee for the water tap and the inspection fee shall still apply. The Safety-Service Director shall, after reasonable notice, discontinue service, or not turn on any water service if it is found that there was a failure to comply with the city's inspection policies or to obtain the required permits.
