§ 35.05 CABLEVISION COMMISSION.
   (A)   There is established a Cablevision Commission.
   (B)   The function of the Commission shall be to oversee and review the actions and functions of the Cablevision System.
   (C)   The Commission shall consist of 5 members. Four members shall be appointed by the Mayor for 3-year terms, provided the terms are staggered as to initial ending dates. One member shall be the current chairperson of the Health, Safety and Service Committee. The Director of Law shall be an advisory member.
   (D)   The duties of the Commission shall be as follows:
      (1)   Screen all requests for rate increases and advise Council of their opinion regarding the rate increase;
      (2)   Review financial statements at least semi-annually;
      (3)   Provide information on technical problems experienced by the Cablevision System;
      (4)   Provide any information requested by Council;
      (5)   Advise Council on any matters that the Commission believes are relevant to the regulations of the Cablevision System.
